We are a group of
researchers located in
Winnipeg, Canada, who,
together, pursue science
education research. Our
objective is to improve
science education at all
levels through various
contextual-humanistic
approaches that use the
history of science in
numerous ways. We refer
to the teaching
components that we
develop as
Units of
Historical
Presentation.
Our
research is currently
supported by a major
five-year grant from the
CRYSTAL at the
University of Manitoba.
Our five-year research
project is entitled
Improving the Teaching
and Learning of Science
Using Units of
Historical Presentation.
